Our 2008 Festival was a great success. This was in part to our wonderful Vendors/Artisans, the event location, our Festival Management and Staff, and the fantastic weather for that weekend.

There was a "hiccup" in the finalization of dates for the 2009 festival. Too many Vendors (both Garlic and other) had conflicting schedules with what became available... so we would have a poor showing and not be able to present the high quality event that we wanted. We've decided to forego the festival in 2009 and work with our Vendors and Artisans for 2010. We'll continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.

We'll also update the website with videos and photos from the 2008 festival.

The Annual Sedona Garlic Festival is the event for lovers of garlic and good times. Family friendly, fun filled and fragrant, this festival features local foods, chefs, music, artisans, games and competitions, all promoting a healthy environment, family farms and vital rural communities in Arizona. A portion of all proceeds go to benefit the Phoenix Children's Hospital.

We have the honor of holding this splendid event on the grounds at Los Abrigados Resort; a gorgeous facility in the heart of Sedona and right next to Oak Creek. Los Abrigados Resort is located at the historic core of Red Rock Country. The property was the site of Sedona's first hotel and post office, and was adjacent to the original Forest Ranger station and Sedona's first general store.

Sedona is the perfect choice to host a Garlic Festival. Nestled in an unusually rugged canyon surrounded by an expansive national forest, Sedona continues to impress visitors with luxurious accommodations, bed & breakfasts, unique shops, impressive art galleries, performing arts and fine restaurants.

Our "Cook-Off Contest" will stage chef against chef in a culinary showdown to compete for some great prizes. There's also a contest to design our Program Cover. Great bands and musicians are lined up to fill the air with music to compliment the aroma of great food.
